IT Sales and Services
Noosaville
The short version
We are a Microsoft-focused managed service provider looking for an experienced Level 2 technician with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our Noosa office. This is a hands-on, client-facing role in a small team where your work is visible and your decisions stick.
This role is based in our Noosa office five days a week. It is not a hybrid or work from home position, and we want to be upfront about that before you apply.
Why we are onsite
We are a phone-first business. When a client calls, a human answers, and that human usually has the context already because they overheard the last three conversations about that client. Our technicians share ticket ownership rather than hiding behind a queue, and that only works when people are in the same room.
We also do real onsite work. Server rooms, cabling, hardware, client site visits across the Sunshine Coast. You cannot do that from a kitchen table.
If you want to be left alone with a headset and a ticket list, we are not the right fit. If you want to work alongside people who will teach you things and let you teach them things, keep reading.
What you will actually do
- Own escalated tickets end to end, from triage through to resolution and client follow up
- Administer Microsoft 365 tenancies including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and Intune
Build, migrate and maintain Windows Server environments, both on premise and Azure hosted
- Configure and troubleshoot networking including firewalls, switching, VPNs and Wi-Fi
- Respond to security alerts and support client cyber hygiene work such as MFA rollouts, conditional access and endpoint protection
- Visit client sites across the Sunshine Coast for installations, project work and relationship building
- Mentor our Level 1 technicians, because you were one once and someone did the same for you
- Contribute to project work, not just break-fix, including migrations,
tenant consolidations and infrastructure refreshes
What we need from you
- 5 or more years in an IT support role, ideally with time in an MSP or multi-client environment
- Genuine Level 2 capability. You can take an escalation without handing it straight back
- Solid Microsoft 365 administration experience, not just password resets
- Windows Server and Active Directory, including migrations
- Solid networking fundamentals and the confidence to troubleshoot a site you have never seen before
- Clear written and verbal communication. Our clients are business owners, not engineers, and we expect notes on every interaction
- A current driver's licence for the duration of employment
- The right to work in Australia and a willingness to undergo a police check
What will make you stand out
- Microsoft certifications
- Experience with Datto RMM, Autotask PSA, IT Glue, SentinelOne or similar MSP tooling
- Exposure to backup and disaster recovery platforms
- Voice and telephony experience, particularly 3CX
What we offer
- $80,000 to $90,000 base plus superannuation, depending on experience and certifications
- Use of a work car to get to and from work (when available) during the work week (excludes weekend use)
- A small team where you are not a number. Around ten people across our Noosa and Sydney offices
- A no-contract, premium service model, which means we keep clients by being good rather than by locking them in. You will not be asked to defend work you are not proud of
- Work five to ten minutes from the beach in one of the best parts of the country
