We are seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team in Geraldton.
This is a permanent, day-shift, workshop-based role maintaining our fleet of light vehicles. The position offers plenty of variety, a supportive team environment and long-term job security with a respected local business.
About the Role
As a Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing our light vehicle fleet to ensure vehicles remain safe, reliable and ready for operation.
Your responsibilities will include
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Performing repairs and replacing worn or damaged components
- Conducting inspections and identifying issues before they become major repairs
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working safely and keeping the workshop clean, organised and efficient
- Working with the wider workshop team to keep our fleet operating at its best
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics, Light Vehicle
- Experience servicing and repairing a range of light vehicles
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Pride in producing high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to safety
