We are seeking a qualified and motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer care.
Key responsibilities
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately
- Carry out inspections and report on vehicle condition and required repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly
- Complete job cards and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organised work environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and quality standard
Skills and experience
- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III Automotive)
- Previous experience in a workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
