Role Description This part time remote Logistics Manager role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations that support the university’s academic and administrative activities.

The Logistics

Manager will oversee inventory tracking for educational materials and equipment, manage procurement processes, and ensure timely supply chain coordination with internal departments and external vendors. Daily tasks include analyzing logistics data, optimizing delivery schedules, maintaining accurate records, and resolving service issues related to materials distribution. The role also involves collaborating with academic and administrative staff to forecast needs, improve operational workflows, and maintain clear communication regarding logistics status and priorities.

Qualifications

- Experience in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management, with the ability to coordinate end-to-end material flow.
- Strong Inventory Management skills, including tracking,



reporting, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Knowledge of Procurement practices, vendor management, and cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Customer Service skills for supporting internal stakeholders and addressing logistics-related inquiries.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with logistics or ERP software and standard office productivity tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field preferred; relevant professional certifications are an asset.
- Prior experience in an academic, public sector, or institutional environment is beneficial.
