Our client is a well-established leader in embellishment and print finishing located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. Due to business growth, they need additional machine operators. This is an opportunity to work alongside a strong and growing team of print finishing staff.

Print Finishing Machine Operator

Ideally they are looking for a machine operator to be trained on a range of print finishing equipment, including:

- laminating machines
- foil stamping machines
- embossing machines.

This role can be offered either on AM shift (6am to 2pm) or PM shift (2pm to 10pm).

Training will initially be on the AM shift (6am - 2pm) for approximately 4-8 weeks.

Once competent on the machines, you would then move across to the PM shift (2pm - 10pm).

Wide Format Cutting Table operator

They are also looking for an operator to work on the PM shift (2pm -10pm) in the Wide Format Digital Department.



This role involves operation of a range of digital cutting machines (eg Zund). Training provided.

What the job involves

As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:

- operating print finishing machines (laminating, foil stamping or embossing, cutting)

- performing work to a high-quality standard
- working both independently and as part of a team

The person we are looking for The appropriate candidate will:

- have experience in the sheet fed print industry
- preferably have laminating or die cutting experience (however, full training is available for the right candidate)

- have good basic literacy and numeracy skills
- have a strong work ethic.
