Role Description The Maintenance Controller is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Melbourne Area. This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day aircraft maintenance activities to ensure fleet airworthiness and regulatory compliance. Key tasks include monitoring maintenance status, scheduling and tracking planned and unplanned maintenance, liaising with engineering teams and external maintenance providers, and ensuring accurate documentation in maintenance records and systems.

The Maintenance

Controller will work closely with operations, pilots, and safety personnel to minimize aircraft downtime,



support efficient charter scheduling, and uphold company standards for safety and reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Aircraft Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills applied to Aircraft systems and components.
- Candidates should possess specific PowerPlant knowledge and experience with aircraft engines.
- Relevant experience as a Maintenance Controller, Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, or similar aviation maintenance coordination role.
- Thorough understanding of CASA regulations and aviation safety standards.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, maintenance schedules, and regulatory documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with pilots, operations teams, and maintenance providers.
- Proficiency with maintenance tracking software and general computer applications.
- Formal aviation maintenance qualifications or trade certificates; CASA licensure or equivalent is highly regarded.
