Maintenance Officer The Opportunity We're partnering with a respected not-for-profit aged care provider to recruit a Maintenance Officer for a full-time position within a residential aged care environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining safe and welcoming environments, and wants the stability of a Monday to Friday role.

You'll become part of a supportive team where your work plays an important role in creating a comfortable, safe and well-maintained home for residents, staff and visitors.

Key Information

- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- $35.00 per hour (trade qualified) or $30.48 per hour (non-trade)
- Superannuation and salary packaging

What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out general building maintenance and repairs
- Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain outdoor areas, gardens and shared spaces
- Liaise with external contractors when required
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting

About You
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman or trade role
- Trade qualification highly regarded but not essential
- Practical problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Current driver's licence
- Unrestricted full-time Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
