Maintenance Plumber (Qualified or 4th Year Apprentice)

Canberra ACT | Full Time | Immediate Start Prestige Plumbing & Drains is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tradesman Plumber or a motivated 4th Year Apprentice to join our growing team. We're a locally owned Canberra business with a reputation for quality workmanship, professional service and looking after our people. Our work takes us to a wide range of commercial and community facilities across Canberra, including hospital cafés, office buildings, aged care and early childhood centers, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.

You'll provide professional plumbing maintenance and repair services to our established portfolio of commercial, strata and residential clients across Canberra. If you enjoy problem solving, delivering quality workmanship and working as part of a supportive team, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Role

Your work will include:

- General plumbing maintenance and repairs
- Hot water system replacements
- Gas appliance installations, servicing and replacement
- Gas leak investigations and repairs
- CCTV drain inspections
- High-pressure drain cleaning
- Excavation and drainage repairs
- Leak detection and fault finding
- Commercial, strata and residential maintenance
- Minor construction and refurbishment projects.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start available. Some overtime will be required from time to time.

About You

We're looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified plumber or a 4th Year Apprentice
- Holds a current driver's license and White Card
- Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Is professional and courteous with clients and teammates
- Presents professionally and understands you're representing our business in our clients' workplaces
- Keeps work areas and vehicles clean and tidy
- Is committed to working safely every day.

Experience in gas fitting, high-pressure drain cleaning, CCTV drain inspections, or excavation is highly regarded. However, we're happy to provide Ongoing training and career development provided, with company-funded licences, tickets and industry competencies available to the right candidate based on role requirements training for the right person who has a outstanding attitude and is keen to learn.
