Your new company A well-established school seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join its facilities team. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a maintenance professional who enjoys balancing team supervision, contractor management and day-to-day operational responsibilities within a busy setting.

Your new role

As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations across multiple sites. You will lead a small maintenance team, manage contractors and service providers, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and well maintained. Your general responsibilities will include:

- Leading and supporting the maintenance team
- Managing preventative and reactive maintenance programmes
- Coordinating contractors and service providers
- Overseeing building repairs, minor works and maintenance projects
- Supporting operational requirements and event set-ups
- Ensuring compliance with WHS and safety standards




- Assisting with asset management and continuous site improvements

What you'll need to succeed

- Trade qualification or relevant facilities and building maintenance experience
- Experience supervising maintenance teams or site operations
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and contractor management
- Experience delivering preventative maintenance programmes and minor projects
- Understanding of WHS, compliance and risk management requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
