Marketing Manager

Mulgrave, Melbourne · Full-time Axil Coffee is a Melbourne specialty roaster with 17 venues, 150+ wholesale partners and a growing online community. We’ve built our name on exceptional coffee, genuine relationships and thoughtful growth, and we’re proud to be independent while operating at the highest level of the specialty scene. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing function.

About the role

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role covering the full marketing function — strategy through to execution. Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a small team, you will own our marketing calendar, email and CRM, website and e-commerce, paid media, PR and partnerships, events, packaging, and reporting, while managing external agencies and vendors.

Key responsibilities

Set, own and drive the marketing strategy and rolling marketing calendar

Manage email & CRM (Klaviyo) — EDMs, lifecycle flows and nurture sequences

Own the website and e-commerce experience (Shopify), including site projects and SEO coordination

Plan and manage paid media across Meta and Google,



with performance tracking and reporting

Manage PR, media relationships and brand partnerships

Own the events program, including trade shows and community activations

Oversee packaging, artwork and new product launches, including compliance

Deliver monthly marketing reporting and analytics to leadership

Lead and develop the marketing team, and manage external agencies and suppliers

About you

Senior, full-funnel marketing experience, genuinely hands-on across email/CRM, e-commerce and paid media

Solid analytical, reporting and commercial decision-making skills A strategic brand storyteller and precise writer with flawless attention to detail.

Calm and organised under a demanding, varied workload

Experience in specialty coffee, hospitality or FMCG highly regarded but not essential
