About Squinters Brewing Co.

Squinters Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery and distillery based in Penrith, proudly representing Western Sydney. We produce a growing range of craft beers and spirits, distribute to wholesale customers including local pubs, bars and retailers across the region, and operate a brand home open to the public.

Our name comes from a familiar local moment – heading west in the afternoon and squinting into the sun as it drops behind the Blue Mountains. That local story still sits at the heart of our brand today. Squinters is about fresh local drinks, community connection, and giving people a place to gather and enjoy the west.

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to lead and execute our marketing activities, drive brand growth, and support our wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels through strategic marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our brand, product portfolio and wholesale offering across digital and traditional channels.

Ø Plan, coordinate and execute digital marketing activities, including website content management, social media, email newsletters, and paid advertising, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

Ø Create high-quality marketing content – including copy, photography, video and promotional materials – that communicates our brand story and product attributes to both trade and consumer audiences.

Ø Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the craft beverage and wholesale alcohol sector.

Ø Support business growth by preparing and executing marketing objectives, policies and programs that align with sales targets and brand positioning.

Ø Provide strategic advice on product mix, pricing, advertising, sales promotion and distribution channels to optimise market reach and profitability.

Ø Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies and marketing collateral for wholesale accounts, including product launches, seasonal campaigns, and trade activations.

Ø Monitor and analyse campaign performance using relevant metrics (reach, engagement, conversion, ROI) and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.

Ø Analyse data from digital marketing platforms and website analytics to refine content, improve search engine performance, and optimise campaign outcomes.

Ø Liaise with external agencies, designers, photographers and media partners to deliver marketing projects on time and within budget.

Ø Maintain and strengthen brand identity across all customer touchpoints, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual presentation.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

Ø A diploma or higher qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications).

Ø Proven experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ideally within FMCG, beverage, alcohol, or related industries.

Ø Strong content creation skills with the ability to produce engaging copy, visual assets and multimedia content for various platforms.

Ø Solid understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, analytics, SEO and paid advertising.

Experience with Google Analytics, CRM systems, and creative tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) is advantageous.

Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.

Ø Strong analytical and research capabilities, with experience interpreting market data and campaign performance metrics to drive decision-making.

Ø A self-motivated, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team setting.

Ø A genuine interest in the craft beverage industry and a connection to the Western Sydney community is welcomed.

Why Join Us

Ø Take ownership of marketing strategy for a growing, locally respected independent brand.

Ø Work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your contributions will have direct impact.

Ø Convenient Penrith location with easy access via train and M4 motorway.

Ø Competitive salary package with opportunities for career development as the business expands.

Ø Staff discounts on our products.
