Intrix Cyber Security is looking for a video-first marketing intern to join our team in Sydney. This internship suits a student who can complete it as part of a university placement or is looking to gain experience and build a portfolio.

You will shoot, edit and publish real content, contribute to live campaigns, and produce work that goes out under the Intrix brand. About us

We help organisations across government, finance, healthcare, education and professional services keep their digital systems secure. Our marketing team is small, which means you will work closely with the people making decisions and see your work go live. What you'll do

Video and short form content, your main focus

Plan, film and edit short form video for LinkedIn, Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, featuring our team

Run lighting, framing and audio for video podcasts, client case studies and interviews

Build design assets in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud: social tiles, one pagers, event collateral

Copywriting, SEO and social

Research and draft blog articles, service pages, case studies and email newsletters

Support on page SEO: keyword research, internal linking, meta titles and descriptions

Schedule posts and track engagement across LinkedIn and other channels

Marketing operations and analytics

Track performance in GA4, Google Search Console and LinkedIn Analytics





Support event preparation and run competitor research to inform our positioning What you'll get A portfolio of published video, writing and design work

Experience with real SEO, marketing automation and video editing tools

Mentoring from our Head of Marketing and a written reference on completion

Exposure to how a cyber security business markets itself You'll fit if you

Can shoot video on a camera or smartphone, capture clean audio, and edit in CapCut, Premiere Pro or your preferred tools

Write clearly and correctly in Australian English

Pick up new tools quickly (Canva, WordPress, Figma, SE Ranking or similar)

Are organised, take feedback well and bring your own ideas

No cyber security background needed. We will teach you the industry. We are looking for someone who can capture a story, write well and edit at pace. The details

Internship, 2 to 3 days per week, versatile around your studies

Suitable as a university work placement (we can complete a placement agreement with your university)

Hybrid, based at our Sydney HQ
