We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Team Leader Maternal & Child Health to join our leadership team and play a key role in leading people, fostering innovation, building strong partnerships and supporting positive outcomes for children and families across the municipality. Reporting to the Coordinator Maternal and Child Health, this is an opportunity for a motivated and relationship-focused leader to join a progressive Maternal and Child Health service. As a key member of the leadership team, you will work collaboratively across Council, health and community sectors to support the delivery of responsive, culturally inclusive services that meet the needs of Greater Dandenong's diverse and growing community.

About You

You will bring

- Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Nurse with Midwifery endorsement and accredited Maternal and Child Health qualifications.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a Maternal and Child Health, community health or related setting.




- A strong understanding of the Victorian Maternal and Child Health Program and Enhanced MCH services.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence and professionalism.
- A forward-thinking and highly team-oriented leader who builds trusted relationships, embraces innovation, shares knowledge freely and works in partnership with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver integrated services and positive outcomes for children and families.
- A commitment to delivering inclusive and equitable services to diverse communities.

About the Role

You will

- Lead, mentor and support a multidisciplinary team of MCH professionals.
- Partner closely with the Coordinator MCH, the other Team Leaders and the Senior Clinical Educator to share leadership responsibilities and drive service excellence
- Oversee the delivery of universal MCH programs.
- Drive innovation, service improvement, and best practice initiatives.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and clinical guidelines.
- Build partnerships with community agencies and support services.
