About the role

MR EXPRESS TRANSPORT SERVICES is seeking a dedicated MC Driver Linehaul to join our team at our Derrimut, Victoria facility. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our road transport operations. As an MC Driver Linehaul, you will be responsible for the safe and productive transportation of goods along established routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the high standards of service that our clients depend on.

This role is fundamental to our logistics operations and directly impacts our reputation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Operate a MC truck safely and efficiently along designated linehaul routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in protected working condition
- Transport goods securely and professionally, adhering to all loading and unloading procedures
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation in compliance with heavy vehicle regulations
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and road safety regulations
- Deliver goods on time whilst maintaining vehicle and cargo security
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route progress and any issues
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately
- Maintain a professional demeanour and represent MR EXPRESS TRANSPORT SERVICES positively

- What we're looking for Linehaul change over driver from Derrimut to Nhill,

- Valid MC driver's licence with a current MC endorsement
- Proven experience as a linehaul driver or similar long-distance driving role
- Full understanding of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and road transport regulations

- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Excellent safety record and demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices
- Solid time management and organisational skills





- Ability to work independently and manage routes with minimal supervision
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks as required

- Familiarity with GPS systems and digital logbook technologies is advantageous
