Career Employment Group Inc is seeking applications for a full time Mechanic Apprentice to work with our valued Host Employer in Port Lincoln.

As part of this opportunity, you will undertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, with the potential prospect to also complete a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology as a dual trade.

As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while developing a range of skills, including:

- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vehicles and mechanical equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
- Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working alongside experienced mechanics to develop your technical skills

Position Requirements

- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical
- Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Be punctual and have a good work ethic
- Be able to use initiative and work well in a team
- Hold a current driver's licence
