Wide variety of work (working with tools as well as working in office environment as well as site visits throughout Australia / New Zealand / Pacific Islands) Responsibilities:

Supervision and inspection of cooling equipment and mechanical services installation work performed by customers or Delta subcontractors.

Participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers to test equipment before delivery.

Performance of product testing, commissioning, live cutovers, and execution of customer acceptance protocols to achieve final handovers to customer’s operations teams.

Ensure compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS) for mechanical and refrigeration systems.

Acquire expert knowledge in the Delta cooling products portfolio, which includes various PAC units, In-Row cooling racks,



Liquid-to-Liquid cooling distribution units (CDU), and Air-to-Liquid cooling units (AALC), and mechanical cooling solutions inside Delta containerised datacentre modules and PTU modules.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance of cooling equipment.

Perform corrective maintenance activities, such as: troubleshooting, root case analysis, and repair-work.

Provide remote technical support to customers.

Provide on-site user training to operate the cooling equipment.

Respond to emergency call-outs and provide 24/7 standby support on a rotational basis, as required by a roster.

Be a professional advisor to customers and uphold the Delta brand and values, to build customer loyalty and trust.

Adhere and comply to Delta and customer HSE&Q; requirements. Lead role expectations

Manage field team scheduling, leave planning, and resource allocation to ensure adequate site coverage, timely service delivery, and efficient utilization of personnel.

Conduct regular performance reviews, timesheet validation, and administrative oversight, ensuring compliance with company policies, service procedures, and reporting requirements.

Lead team communication and workforce management activities, including toolbox meetings, one-on-ones, training coordination, onboarding of new engineers, and escalation management for field personnel issues.

Knowledge sharing from prior experiences to coach junior members and build the team’s capabilities.

About you: Job Experience: Required:





Previous experience with High Precision Air Conditioning products and systems in critical infrastructures. Preferably data centre applications.

Minimum 5 years’ experience Technical/ Professional skills: Required:

Mechanical qualification or relevant work experience. A valid refrigeration trade license will be considered an advantage.

Valid Australian driver's license

Fluency in English language.

Have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.

Be able and prepared to travel interstate as required depending on the location of the projects and customers and work on weekends as required.

Knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and related Microsoft office software.
