About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Mechanical Office Assistant/Workshop Support to join our team on a full-time basis at our North Haven NSW 2443 location. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our office and workshop, providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure our business runs efficiently. You will be the backbone of our office operations, managing key tasks that directly impact our ability to serve our clients effectively.

What you'll be doing

· Providing comprehensive administrative support to the office team, including managing correspondence, phone enquiries and scheduling

· Maintaining accurate records and documentation for workshop jobs, including work orders, invoices and client files

· Managing diary systems and coordinating appointments for clients and staff

· Processing invoices, quotes and administrative paperwork in a timely manner

· Supporting workshop operations by organising materials, tracking inventory and liaising between office and workshop staff

· Assisting with basic data entry and maintaining organised filing systems, both physical and digital





· Greeting clients and providing professional customer service support

· Supporting the coordination of workshop activities and ensuring smooth communication between office and workshop teams

What we're looking for

· Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, with a mechanical background, or trade qualified mechanic looking to get off the tools.

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems

· Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation

· A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support both office and workshop operations

· Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to supporting the team

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

· Preferred: Experience in a workshop or mechanical trade environment

· Preferred: Familiarity with workshop management systems or job scheduling software
