We are a growing, family-oriented Medical Centre with dedicated doctors and a supportive administrative team. We are currently looking for a skilled and welcoming Casual Medical Receptionist to join our busy practice.

The Role In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your goal is to ensure the practice runs smoothly while providing a calm and professional experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a warm, professional welcome to patients in person and over the phone.
- Managing a busy appointment book with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Liaising with external providers, including Hospitals, Pathology, Radiology, and other Specialist clinics.
- Maintaining accurate electronic patient records.
- General office and administrative duties to support our clinical team.
About You
We are looking for a multitasker who stays cool under pressure and truly enjoys interacting with people.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical reception role is highly regarded.
- Software: Proficiency in Best Practice (or similar medical software) and office software.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Attributes: A welcoming nature, a professional "can-do" attitude, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
