Position Details

- Full-Time/Part-Time, Permanent
- Classification: SCHADS Level 3 with a salary range of $80,087 - $85,877; per annum pro rata if part time + Superannuation
- Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits for living and entertainment benefits, increasing take home pay
- Location: Community Living Support Program (Campbelltown, Liverpool or Bankstown)

About your current role

As a Mental Health and Wellbeing Worker within the Community Living Supports (CLS)) program, you will provide person-centred, recovery-oriented psychosocial support to people living with severe and complex mental health challenges. The role focuses on working alongside people to strengthen independence, wellbeing, and community connection in ways that matter to them.

You will deliver individualised, flexible outreach support in community settings, including people's homes, to assist them to build dailyliving skills, improve physical and mental health, and pursue personal goals such as education, employment, stable housing, and meaningful relationships. Support is grounded in trauma-informed practice and Neami's Collaborative Relational Practice, recognising each person as the expert in their own life

What you will bring to the role

- Minimum Cert IV in a related field and/or equivalent experience working in a relevant setting.
- Demonstrates an interest and understanding of others and relates well to people at all levels including the impact of trauma, mental distress and social determinates on health and wellbeing.
- Ability to establish respectful professional relationships that have clear boundaries with consumers, staff and partner organisations.
- Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to prioritise multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.
- Strong emotional resilience including the ability to sit with discomfort, distress and people in crisis.




- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust to deal with sensitive and difficult situations.
- Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people and identifies changing needs within a group.
- Relevant transferrable skills and experience
- Knowledge of trauma informed care.
- Strong computer literacy and written communication skills.
