About the role
As a Mental Health Worker, you will be required to work within accommodation & community services supporting participants with lived experience including mental health and / or mild intellectual disabilities. You will provide individual support through individual recovery plans that promote emotional well-being & goal achievements. Shifts available include weekday, evening, weekends & sleepovers.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting participants with daily living activities
- Complete individual assessments
- Develop Individual Recovery Plans
- Supporting participants social activities
- Annual Health Assessments
- Community access
About you
- Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health or Disability Services
- Minimum 2 years experience working in the mental health field
- Understanding of the challenges people with a lived experience and / or mental health issue encounter
- Solid commitment to recovery-based practice
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening & Orientation Modules Certificates
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
