The Regional Project Manager will support a large-scale merger integration, focused on business and process integration across global regions. This role is responsible for driving execution within the LATAM region, ensuring alignment to global integration milestones and maintaining rigorous control over deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
This is a hands-on execution role. The candidate is expected to actively drive progress, follow up with stakeholders, and ensure regional commitments are delivered — not just report status.
In addition, the role will support local execution of change management activities, partnering with the central change team to ensure adoption and readiness at the regional level.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Regional Execution: Own and drive the regional execution plan; ensure alignment to global milestones and timelines
- Plan, Milestones & RAID Management: Maintain detailed plans; track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies; drive mitigation and recovery actions
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage dependencies across regions and functions; remove blockers and keep execution moving
- Governance & Reporting: Provide accurate status updates; support governance forums; escalate risks and issues as needed
- Stakeholder Management: Drive accountability across regional stakeholders through structured follow-ups and action tracking
- Change Execution Support: Execute regional change activities (e.g., communications, training coordination, readiness tracking) in alignment with the central change team
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience in large-scale transformation or integration programs
- Proven ability to drive execution across multiple stakeholders and geographies
- Solid experience managing detailed plans, milestones, and dependencies
- Hands-on experience managing RAID and driving issue resolution
- Experience working across global, cross-functional teams
- Ability to support execution of change activities in coordination with a central team
- Proficiency in tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
- Post-merger integration or Integration Management Office (IMO) experience
- Exposure to organizational change management (OCM) execution
- Experience in business/process integration environments
- Experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models
Working Model & Time Zone Expectations
- LATAM role with required daily overlap with US Eastern Time
- Align to LATAM stakeholders + US coordination
- Must be comfortable operating with a global team across multiple time zones
