Pebblestone Building Services is a Gold Coast architectural metalwork company. We design, fabricate and install perforated panels, batten screens, sunhoods, fins and aluminium cladding for commercial builders across South East Queensland. We own every step, from shop drawings to handover, so the same team that designs and builds the work installs it. One team, one point of contact.

The role

We're building out our Upper Coomera workshop and need a metalwork fabricator to fabricate our architectural metalwork, aluminium screens, battens, sunhoods, cladding and the structural steel that supports them, straight from our shop drawings. You'll weld, fit up and assemble to a high finish standard ready for powdercoat. You report to our Operations Director and work alongside the team that designs and installs the work.

What you'll do

- Fabricate architectural metalwork from shop drawings: cut, form, weld, fit up and assemble
- Aluminium MIG welding, TIG welding, and mild steel fabrication to a clean, finish-ready standard
- Mark out, measure and check your own work for quality before it leaves the shop
- Prep work for powdercoat; keep the workshop tidy and secure
- Work to SWMS and safe workshop practice

What you'll need





- Trade qualification (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication / boilermaker / welder, or equivalent)
- Confident aluminium MIG welding, TIG welding, and mild steel fabrication
- Able to read and work from fabrication drawings
- White Card
- Your own basic hand and power tools (drill/driver combo, grinder); we supply the welders, consumables, specialist equipment and PPE
- Reliable, quality-focused, takes pride in the finish

Highly Regarded

- Aluminium TIG to an architectural finish
- Experience with architectural metalwork, facades, screens or sheet
- Brake press / folding experience (we're adding folding capability)
- Forklift, EWP or Working at Heights (occasional site work), first aid
