Obtain Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue About the role: Mines Rescue is currently seeking applications from passionate people interested in completing a Mines Rescue Cadetship at Woonona. The program is a fantastic opportunity that provides a second to none introduction to industry. You will be working towards a Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue, and duties will include the following activities: Technical maintenance of emergency and safety equipment Introduction to underground mining & participation in emergency preparedness activities Training activities and skill learnings in both mines rescue and WH&S; About you: Your education, experience and skills include: All interested candidate are encouraged to apply Trade Certificate or other course of study (desirable)
Genuine interest in seeking a career in mines rescue, safety,
training or the broader coal industry Work experience that demonstrates a sound work ethic and commitment Demonstrated ability to contribute to a team setting Full drivers licence and ability to travel within NSW to other stations (essential)
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role and pass a mining industry medical
