Scope of Work:

A rare job opportunity is available now for a qualified and highly motivated Mining Engineer. Join the team at NRW’s, $700 million Mining project in WA – Karara Mining Limited. Well-developed camp with outstanding facilities including gyms and recreational activities, short flight from Perth, brand new mining equipment, excellent workshop infrastructure and a fantastic team culture. This opportunity will be offered on a permanent full-time basis with an 8/6 roster.

To be considered as a Mining Engineer you must possess the following as a minimum:

- Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ in an operational engineering role on a production mine site
- Strengths in planning, scheduling, budgets, and cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in the operation of Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi earth moving equipment
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence

As a Mining Engineer reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering safe and optimal short-term planning/scheduling




- Liaising with operation teams to ensure production targets are met
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects
- Promotion of mine health, safety, and environmental policies
