Seeking for Mining Engineers for a full-time permanent opportunity!

More than 140 years after mining began at Broken Hill, this legendary orebody still holds considerable untapped potential. Perilya's Southern Operations is a complex, remnant underground mine feeding a purpose-built concentrator on site, with zinc and lead concentrates railed from Broken Hill to Port Pirie in South Australia. The operation is backed by an exploration package of over 300km² of regional tenements, on top of the mining leases covering current operations.

By approaching this orebody with a fresh set of eyes — tapping into a rich seam of historical knowledge and introducing new practices and technology — there is real, latent value still to unlock at Broken Hill. Concentis is now looking for a Lead Mining Engineer to help lead that next chapter.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to provide leadership and direction for the mine planning function at Broken Hill — leading mine planning activities, supporting strategic decision-making, and mentoring a team of planning engineers

WHY JOIN US:

- Step into a true leadership position — shape strategic direction, mentor a growing team of planning engineers, and influence life-of-mine outcomes

- Take on a rare technical challenge in remnant underground mining, with strong exposure to Maptek Vulcan and close collaboration with geology and geotechnical teams
- Backed by 300km²+ of regional exploration tenements — real potential for the operation, and your career, to grow
- Join a close-knit technical services team where your ideas on productivity, safety, and resource recovery genuinely move the needle
