The Opportunity An established and growing financial services business is launching a new office in North Sydney and is looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker to build and grow the lending division.

This is a newly created chance for a highly driven, sales-focused broker who wants to build something from the ground up.

There is no existing mortgage client book , so this role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys the challenge of generating new business, developing referral relationships and creating their own opportunities.

You will, however, have the backing of an established financial services business, access to warm leads and the opportunity to leverage the broader business's existing network and relationships.

About The Role

You will be responsible for growing the mortgage broking business through a combination of warm leads, referrals, existing relationships and proactive business development.

Key responsibilities include

- Generate and convert new lending opportunities
- Build and nurture strong client and referral relationships
- Manage the lending process from enquiry through to settlement




- Develop and maintain a strong referral network
- Identify cross-referral opportunities with the Financial Planning team
- Contribute to the growth of the new Mona Vale office
- Deliver a high-quality client experience

About You The ideal candidate will be a sales-focused Mortgage Broker with a genuine hunter mentality.

You will ideally have

- Proven Mortgage Broking experience
- Strong sales and business development skills
- A track record of generating and converting new business
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- The ability to nurture warm leads and turn relationships into opportunities
- A proactive and commercially driven approach
- Existing referral relationships or a strong network will be highly regarded

This role is more focused on sales and business development than purely technical broking . The successful candidate will be someone who is motivated by growing a successful lending business and achieving meaningful results.
