About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our busy and growing automotive workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles.
This is a full-time position offering stable long-term employment in a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using scan tools and workshop equipment
- Carry out routine servicing including oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, and engine repairs
- Repair and replace worn or faulty components
- Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to workshop supervisor or customers

Requirements
- Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Automotive Technician)
- Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience preferred
- Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on a variety of makes and models
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good attention to detail and time management
- Valid driver’s licence
