Caloundra Removals & Storage is looking for reliable and experienced MR/HR Licensed Drivers to join our team at our Sunshine Coast branch.
This is a hands-on driving role suited to people who take pride in their work, enjoy working as part of a team and understand the importance of providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for the safe operation of our vehicles while working alongside removalist offsiders to complete private and government removals.
Previous removals experience is welcomed; however, training will be provided to experienced drivers who have the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include
- Safely operating MR or HR removal vehicles
- Completing vehicle pre-start inspections and reporting any issues
- Leading and working alongside removalist offsiders
- Safely loading and unloading household and office furniture
- Packing, wrapping and protecting customers’ belongings
- Ensuring loads are correctly positioned, secured and transported
- Completing local and interstate removals
- Planning and following appropriate routes and delivery schedules
- Completing required paperwork and job documentation
- Maintaining a clean, presentable and organised vehicle
- Providing professional and respectful customer service
- Following fatigue-management, road-safety and workplace health and safety requirements
ABOUT YOU We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a current MR or HR driver’s licence
- Has a safe driving history
- Is reliable, punctual and ready to work
- Is physically fit and capable of safely performing manual work
- Is confident leading and working as part of a small team
- Takes care when handling customers’ belongings
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Communicates professionally with customers and team members
- Can complete paperwork accurately and follow instructions
- Is available for early starts and flexible working hours
- Is available for overnight or interstate travel when required
- Can satisfy any required police or government security checks
- Has previous removals, furniture delivery or transport experience—preferred but not essential
