About the Role

Tronox is seeking a safety-focused and motivated Shift Process Operator to join our team at the North Shore, Mineral Separation Plant on a permanent, full time contract.

As an MSP Operator, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient processing of mineral sands, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved. Working as part of a collaborative operations team, you will operate and monitor mineral separation equipment, conduct routine inspections and maintenance, monitor process performance, and make adjustments to optimise mineral recovery and product quality. You will also maintain accurate production records, perform quality checks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and reliability.

The successful candidate will bring experience in mineral processing operations, strong mechanical and technical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and following standard operating procedures, with experience using tools such as JHAs and Take 5s. With excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach, you will be adaptable to changing operational priorities and willing to work rotating shifts to support site production requirements.

This is a residential role based just outside the Bunbury CBD. For fatigue management purposes,



applicants must reside within a 40-minute commute of the site. The position operates on a highly desirable even time roster, working 12-hour shifts on a 2 days, 2 nights followed by 4 days off.

About You

- Certificate II or III in Process Plant Operations (highly desirable)
- Proven experience as an Operator with processing and monitoring exposure preferred but not required.
- Must be fit to perform physical work
- The following licences and mobile equipment operating experience are desirable but not essential: front end loader, bobcat, forklift.
- Previous experience with control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, & attention to detail
- Positive attitude with effective communication and teamwork abilities.
