Helena College is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and people-focused Music Administrator to support our vibrant music program.

This part-time position, 15 hours per week (we are flexible about which days) is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative educational environment and brings robust administration, communication and organisational skills. You’ll help coordinate the day-to-day activities that keep our music program running smoothly, supporting students, families, music tutors and College staff.

The role is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the instrumental music program administration at Helena College, including timetabling, student enrolments and music library maintenance.

About you

- Ability and experience in a similar and/or administrative role is highly desirable
- A comprehensive knowledge of music (instrumental in particular) would be beneficial but not essential

- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills

- Must hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a current Working with Children Check

- Must hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a current Police Certificate

- Ability to work autonomously

- Excellent interpersonal skills and organisational ability

- Willingness and ability to apply the College's Vision, Mission and Values

About us

Helena College is a non-religious, independent, co-educational school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in the Perth Hills,



just 25 kms from Perth City. Across two campuses in Darlington and Glen Forrest, we provide a balanced education, developing the whole child through the inquiry-led learning programme, in the primary and middle school years, and prepare students for ATAR and general pathways in Years 10 to 12. We believe educating students extends beyond the classroom. We provide a holistic learning program which includes Outdoor Education, camps, sports, arts, clubs and community projects, for students to develop the key cognitive, social and emotional skills they need to flourish and be active members of our broader community.
