Your new role

We’re searching for experienced and compassionate Home Care Support Workers to assist older clients in the community. You’ll play a key role in helping clients remain independent in their own homes, supporting their dignity, safety, and quality of life.

Shifts are available Monday to Friday and Weekends/Public Holidays (as required) and you’ll have a regular part-time roster with opportunities to pick up more hours based on client needs.

What you’ll be doing

- Providing personal care support such as showering, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Supporting with meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Assisting with shopping, medical appointments, and social outings.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in a client’s health or behaviour, escalating concerns to ensure safety
- Delivering care in line with individual Care Plans,



Medication and maintaining accurate documentation for each client.

What you’ll bring

- Current driver’s licence and reliable car with comprehensive insurance
- Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability, or related field
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Clear verbal communication skills to engage effectively with older clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build robust relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
- Flexibility in hours and approach, with availability aligned to client needs
- Ability to review and accurately document care plans
- Experience using mobility aids and assisting with client hoisting (advantageous)
