Role Description The NDIS Payroll and Invoicing Officer is responsible for accurately processing payroll and invoices related to NDIS-funded services and homecare supports. This hybrid role is based in Adelaide, SA, with work from home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include managing payroll cycles, ensuring compliance with relevant awards and NDIS pricing arrangements, preparing and issuing client invoices, and reconciling payments and remittances.
The role also involves maintaining up-to-date financial records, responding to payroll and invoicing queries from staff, clients, and stakeholders,
and collaborating with support coordinators and finance staff to ensure timely and accurate billing. The officer will contribute to continuous improvement of payroll and invoicing processes, while providing clear, respectful communication to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Services, including end-to-end processing and record keeping.
Knowledge of Payroll Taxes and Finance principles relevant to NDIS and community services environments.
Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll and invoicing information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Relevant experience in NDIS, community services, or healthcare settings, particularly with NDIS pricing and billing.
Proficiency in payroll and accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and general office applications.
High level of attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and ethical handling of financial and personal information.
