Dubbo
Founded and led by individuals with a disability or firsthand experience of disability, My Supports is a national organisation with a strong commitment to empowering our clients and creating communities. With over 900 employees and supporting over 2000 clients, My Supports prides itself on delivering meaningful, person-centred supports that make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
The Role
Our model of service delivery hinges on the pivotal role of Neighbourhood Team Leaders, who act as a bridge connecting clients to their local communities.
Based in Dubbo, NSW, working Part time, 4 days a week (0.8FTE), you'll lead an existing dynamic Neighborhood Team of Support Workers and manage Support Coordination to ensure our clients receive exceptional person-centred support.
This role would suit an experienced Coordinator looking to broaden their skillset to Team Management. Taking on a number of existing clients and ILO’s, this role would also have a focus of growing the client base in the local community.
Based in the local community, it's essential that this role is based locally to our clients, in this case, Dubbo and surrounding areas. This role will work from home, as they are the beacon of local knowledge for our clients, connecting people to local services. Your role will include client outreach and growth, providing client support, ensuring quality and safeguarding, and fostering the development of your team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting clients to achieve their goals through strength-based and person-centred planning.
- Coordinating NDIS packages and fostering meaningful community connections for clients.
- Rostering, leading and inspiring a team of local Support Workers to deliver exceptional services.
What We’re Looking For
You are
- Passionate about making a difference, with experience in disability support or the NDIS.
- A natural leader and communicator, able to inspire your team and build solid connections with families, stakeholders, and the broader community.
- Organised and tech-savvy, with solid administration and IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Experienced in support coordination and committed to person-centred approaches.
- Dedicated to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in everything you do.
Perks & Benefits
- Flexible working options: community-based with opportunities to work from home.
- A unique blend of local and national focus: enjoy the support of a national organisation while staying connected to your community.
- Values-driven culture: Be part of a supportive team that celebrates diversity and empowers individuals.
