Resilient Life Care is a small, family-run NDIS Core Supports provider committed to delivering genuine, person-centred support. We pride ourselves on creating a respectful, supportive environment for both the people we support and our team. We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced NDIS Support Workers to join our team in Doncaster and provide consistent, high-quality support to a participant living with psychosocial disability.
This role would suit someone who is calm, patient and confident in building trust and providing consistent support in a home-based environment.
About the Role
You will provide one-on-one support tailored to the participant's individual needs, preferences and routines.
Your responsibilities may include
- Providing high-quality, person-centred support
- Supporting daily living activities and established routines
- Providing psychosocial support and promoting emotional wellbeing
- Encouraging independence, confidence and community participation
- Supporting appointments, activities and outings where required
- Maintaining a safe, calm and supportive home environment
- Building a trusting and professional relationship with the participant
- Recognising changes in presentation and communicating appropriately with the support team
- Following individual support plans, procedures and organisational requirements
- Working independently while maintaining effective communication with the broader team
About You
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys supporting others and understands the importance of consistency, patience and trust.
You will ideally have
- Experience supporting people living with psychosocial disability
- Experience working with participants who have complex or changing support needs
- A calm, patient and reassuring approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to maintain professional boundaries
- A reliable and consistent approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to person-centred practice and respecting individual choice and dignity
- Comfort working around dogs, as there is a dog in the home
? Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A full, current Australian driver's licence
- Their own reliable vehicle available for work
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- The right to work in Australia
A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health or a related field is highly regarded. Experience, qualifications or training in psychosocial disability support will be highly regarded.
Shift Availability
We currently have a range of shifts available, including: ☀️ Morning shifts – 4 hours
? Evening shifts – 4 hours
? Overnight shifts
We are looking for people who can provide consistent and reliable availability. Availability across multiple shift types will be highly regarded.
