Our client is an organisation based in Hobart.

Technical Support Technician / NOC Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain, inspect, install, and repair mechanical, electrical, computing, and site equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults, escalating issues where required.
- Support computer installations, system modifications, and equipment commissioning.
- Assist with fluid handling systems, load bank installations/removals, and network cabling.
- Perform routine site maintenance, fault-finding, equipment replacement, and housekeeping tasks.
- Provide technical support and updates to operations and project teams.
- Maintain service records, equipment logs, and maintenance documentation.
- Adhere to WHS requirements and maintain PPE and site safety equipment.
- Manage tools, spare parts, and inventory controls.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and development.

Skills & Experience

- Diploma, trade qualification, or relevant technical certification.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical support, maintenance, or field service role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.




- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and/or computing systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Flexible to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends.
- Unrestricted driver's licence.
- Electrical licence (where applicable) highly regarded.
- Exposure to data centre infrastructure is advantageous.
