The Role
- Provide intervention to participants living with various disabilities according to the needs of the business.
- Ensure a high standard of clinical care congruent with the values of Access Foundation.
- Developing plans and reports required for NDIS plans.
- Therapist to work with people across all walks of life to provide a range of supports and services to NDIS participants, including:
- - Assistive technology (aids and equipment)
- Home modifications
- Assessment of personal support needs (personal care)
- Housing assessments for participants requiring Specialist Disability Accommodation
- Orientation and mobility training
- Mental Health Well-being
- The whole life of personal planning
The Successful Applicant Will Possess the Following:
- Full relevant registration
- Excellent knowledge of evidence-based practice within the area of the relevant field.
- Awareness of the principles of person-centred practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High levels of computer literacy
- Working with Children Check
- Sound Knowledge of the NDIS (Training provided)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (Quality, Safety, & You)
- NDIS Worker Screening check (will cover a police clearance)
- Full Driving License
