Role Description

This is a Contractor (Full Flexibility & Autonomy

) , on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Epping.

The Occupational

Therapist will assess participants’ functional abilities, design and implement individualised intervention plans, and provide hands-on therapy to improve daily living, motor, and cognitive skills. Day-to-day tasks include conducting home and community-based assessments, documenting progress, preparing reports for NDIS and other stakeholders, and collaborating with families, carers, and other health professionals.



The role involves supporting both children and adults, delivering evidence-based interventions that promote independence, safety, and participation in meaningful activities.

The Occupational

Therapist will also contribute to service planning, attend team meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and delivery.
- Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles relevant to community and NDIS practice.
- Excellent Communication skills for working with participants, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including early childhood development and family-centered care.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRA.
- Understanding of NDIS frameworks, person-centred practice, and culturally secure service delivery.
- Ability to manage a caseload, maintain accurate documentation, and work effectively in home and community settings.
- Current driver’s licence and NDIS Screening Check.
