About the Team The Learning Design team sits within the Learning Design and Technology Unit in the Education Portfolio. The team partners with faculties and supports teaching and learning initiatives across the university.

Job Purpose
This role works collaboratively within the Learning Design team to support the development and enhancement of digital learning experiences. The position contributes to learning design activities, academic support, and continuous improvement across teaching and learning.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the design, build and implementation of digital learning modules and resources using relevant tools and frameworks.
- Apply learning design practices to develop inclusive and accessible digital learning experiences.
- Contribute to testing and implementation of technologies within the digital learning environment.
- Provide support and guidance to academics on learning design approaches and tools.
- Create and maintain learning resources and deliver training where required.
- Contribute to project activities and support delivery of teaching and learning initiatives.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and resources.
Selection Criteria
- Solutions-focused approach, with flexibility and resilience to navigate ambiguity and change.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and build positive working relationships.
- General knowledge of the Higher Education landscape, including current trends and drivers.
- General knowledge about learning pedagogy, theories and/or models relevant for the Higher Education Sector.
- Awareness of Generative AI and data tools in teaching and learning contexts.
- Experience applying learning design principles to develop high-quality digital learning resources, ideally for tertiary students.
- Experience supporting academics or subject matter experts in course design and effective use of learning technologies.

What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $85,165.00 - $97,429 (HEW5) - $98,792 - $106,966 (HEW6) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
