We are seeking a talented individual to join our Advisory team at Marsh.

Occupational Health and Safety Consultant – North East Victoria A unique OHS consulting opportunity exists within our Victorian consulting practice. The OHS consultant role reports to a Senior OHS Consultant within the team of specialist consultants delivering OHS services including risk assessments, incident investigations, workplace inspections and providing advice and support to clients on all matters relating to OHS.

Your impact will be working on site with our clients to provide hands-on OHS support and advice. Occasional travel to our Docklands office to participate in team meetings and events will also be required.

We will count on you to:

- Build strong and cooperative relationships with clients to support their OHS outcomes
- Work directly with clients to help them manage their OHS risks
- Travel to client sites, attend remote/virtual based meetings to:
- provide support to manage OHS risks
- assist with implementing OHS management system requirements
- complete OHS system audits and other OHS support services as required
- support clients to implement policies and best OHS practice

- Support the coordination and delivery of key client programs and projects
- Deliver written and verbal reports/advice that is technically accurate, timely and of the highest quality and professional standards
- Follow, promote and facilitate the project management processes and procedures on all projects in accordance with the Marsh operational requirements.

What you need to have:
- Tertiary degree in Occupational Health and Safety or any relevant field (minimum Cert IV OHS + relevant experience will be considered)
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience

Senior Consultant, Forensic Accounting and Claims Services An outstanding opportunity has become available for a Senior Consultant within our Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) team. The FACS team is a key business unit within the Risk Consulting practice - a specialised practice devoted to providing expert Insurance related Accounting and Analytical services.

The Senior

Consultant is the Engagement Leader and leads the engagement planning and delivery including risk areas, policy coverage, work plan, resourcing and client reporting.

We are recognised as global leaders in our field of pre-loss consulting and post-event claims preparation, in the areas of Material Damage, Business Interruption, Product Recall and Cyber.





This position is for a professional who works independently and as part of a team to analyse financial data and build financial models that capture and quantify financial exposures. This position partners with our practice Principals to manage a variety of Forensic Accounting projects and provides guidance to the consultants and analysts within the team to ensure the effective communication of financial data to key stakeholders. Furthermore, the role helps to provide expert technical and strategic advice to assist our clients in mitigating their risk exposures.

We will count on you to:

- Interpret financial information, analyse and quantify financial loss exposures to the client’s business. You will have experience in financial modelling and trend analysis.
- Develop an understanding of insurance policies and help to provide solutions to client risk management needs.
- Prepare, negotiate and settle insurance claims.
- Act as Project Manager on selected client projects and/or support the Project Manager in the co-ordination and management of consultants/analysts.
- Prepare project proposals, plans and reports to ensure the project is delivered according to the project plan.
- Drive the development of effective written client communication materials – reports, slides decks & client emails.
- Identify and address key technical aspects in the work plan and ensure the team’s skills meet the demands of the engagement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and the internal Marsh team.
- Actively seek opportunities to identify, develop and generate current and expanded business opportunities in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Deliver work within established budgets, timeframes and deadlines.
- Manage company practices and procedures for timekeeping, expense management, reporting, billing and debtors.

What you need to have:

- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or equivalent.
- Qualification as either a CA or CPA.
- Minimum 6 years post qualification experience (within Insurance, Forensic, Audit, Middle Market or Insolvency) with experience in insurance claims, forensic accounting, litigation, fraud or similar economic losses preferred.
- Experience within the Insurance Industry is an advantage but not considered essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a core focus on attention to detail.

- Proficiency in both Word and Excel including a strong understanding of advanced formulas.
- Strong interpersonal skills, be hardworking and have an ability to work in a small team environment as part of a national team of specialists.
- Commitment to providing high level client service.
- Flexibility, with an ability to lead and / or work on various projects at one time.
