We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead and support our residential pest control team.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential service department, ensuring technicians deliver exceptional customer service, maintain high service standards, and operate safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in coaching and developing staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring performance, and supporting business growth through operational excellence.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be a hands-on leader who can effectively manage people, processes, and customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach and support a team of residential pest control technicians.
Monitor technician performance and provide ongoing guidance, training and development.
Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, safety, accountability and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate daily schedules and workloads to maximise efficiency and service delivery.
Conduct field audits and quality assurance checks to ensure company standards are consistently achieved.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and industry regulations.
Manage residential customer escalations and support technicians in resolving customer concerns.
Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to support customer retention and growth opportunities.
Analyse operational performance reports and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Provide technical support and mentoring to technicians in the field when required.
Support the Branch Manager in achieving branch operational and financial objectives.
Position Requirements
Minimum two years' experience in a leadership, supervisory or management role.
Preferred but not necessary Minimum three years' experience within the pest management industry, preferably servicing residential customers.
Preferred but not necessary Certificate III in Urban Pest Management (CPP30119) or equivalent.
Robust knowledge of residential pest management practices, treatments and customer service standards.
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve high performance outcomes.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience using scheduling, CRM or enterprise management systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Current unrestricted driver's licence.
Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain, depending on state requirements).
