They are now looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations in Brisbane.
The role
- Lead and run daily operations across urgent international air freight movements
- Manage shipments end to end: bookings, routing, customs coordination, delivery
- Make quick calls under pressure when timelines are tight and stakes are high
- Build and coach a small operations team as the business grows
- Own service quality, keep customers informed, and solve problems before they escalate
- Improve processes and systems to support rapid growth
About you
- Solid freight forwarding operations background,
ideally with strong air freight exposure
- Experience running urgent or express shipments and working to hard deadlines
- Comfortable in a 24/7 environment where things move quickly
- CargoWise experience highly regarded
- Hands-on leader who stays calm under pressure and gets things done
- Strong communicator with customers, carriers and agents
