What this job involves: As an Operations Supervisor at JLL, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, and the broader BQ Management team in delivering exceptional building operations for our client, Shayher Group. Your focus will be on coordinating and assisting with the day-to-day operational management of the building and its facilities, ensuring every physical aspect operates smoothly and efficiently.

You'll help create and sustain a safe, productive environment for occupants and visitors while supporting initiatives that enhance the asset's overall value. You'll work collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain operational excellence, manage budgets, uphold sustainability commitments, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

What your day-to-day will look like:

- Support the BQ Management Team in monitoring and managing operational expenditure to ensure performance within +/- 2% of the approved annual budget




- Conduct daily inspections of all public areas and weekly inspections of vacant areas, with detailed monthly inspections of all building areas including plant rooms and roof spaces
- Complete FSI Go inspections and maintain accurate documentation of all inspection activities
- Coordinate timely responses to all tenant requests and ensure seamless communication with occupants, contractors, and visitors
- Assist in maintaining current essential services certification and ensuring the building meets DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) requirements
- Support annual site hazard assessments conducted by external parties and help address high-priority items in a timely manner
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure all contractors comply with the client's Risk Management Policy, Work Safe Procedures, and relevant legislation including Building Rules
- Complete incident reports promptly as required and escalate WHS&E; incidents appropriately while supporting rectification of any items raised
- Assist in achieving annual sustainability targets for the property and support compliance with NABERS/BEED requirements

Required qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in building services or other transferable operational experience
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Positive written and oral communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
- Computer literacy and IT knowledge to an intermediate level
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and positive attitude
- Sound technical aptitude with the ability to understand building systems and operational processes





Preferred qualifications:

- Relevant technical qualifications in building services, facilities management, or related fields
- Experience with work order management systems and finance support processes
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Operations and Facilities Management
- Familiarity with NABERS, BEED, or other sustainability certification programs
- Knowledge of WHS&E; compliance requirements in commercial building environments
