About The Role 5x Aviation is seeking a casual/part time Piper PA-31 Navajo Survey Pilot to join its expanding flight operations team, conducting aerial survey missions throughout Australia using specialist survey equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct aerial survey operations in the Piper PA-31 Navajo
- Complete pre-flight planning, performance, weight and balance and risk assessments
- Liaise with survey crews, clients and operational staff
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and flight records

Essential Requirements

- Current CPL(A) or ATPL(A)
- Current Class 1 or 2 Aviation Medical Certificate




- Multi-Engine Instrument Rating and current Flight Review
- Minimum 750 hours total flight time
- Minimum 50 hours multi-engine, including 25 hours on a PA-31
- Demonstrated IFR and remote/regional operating experience
- Ability to work away from home for extended periods
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC

Desirable
- Previous aerial survey, charter or aerial work experience
- Instructor, charter or remote area operational experience
- First Aid / Dangerous Goods Certificate
