If you’re seeking a workplace that genuinely values flexibility, wellbeing, creativity, and a deeply supportive team culture, you’ll feel right at home with us.
About the Role
As a Speech Pathologist at Stepping Stones, you will work alongside a team of other Speechies, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver holistic, collaborative care for our clients. Our caseload has a strong neurodiverse focus, and we pride ourselves on providing strengths‑based, affirming, and evidence‑informed supports.
One of our wonderful Speechies will be commencing maternity leave, and your role will help support her caseload of clients.
Your work may include
- 1:1 therapeutic intervention
- Parent coaching and family‑centred support
- School‑based and home‑based sessions
- Sessions held within our beautiful newly purpose-built practice in the Bunbury CBD. Think full kitchen facilities for functional skill building, therapy gym, calming sensory room, relaxing outdoor area and play spaces galore!
- Occasional assistance with group therapeutic intervention
- Collaborative planning with our multidisciplinary team
- Contributing to a warm, inclusive, and neuroaffirming clinic culture
We tailor roles to suit your strengths, interests, and preferred working style — whether that’s structured clinic‑based work, creative community engagement, or a blend of both.
What We Offer
We are committed to supporting our team with meaningful perks, including:
- Competitive salary packages
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Fuel reimbursements above the standard rates
- Generous professional development budgets
- Whole‑team wellness days
- Highly flexible working arrangements
- A beautiful clinic to work within
- A genuinely exceptional workplace culture — we don’t just say it, we actively maintain it
We believe that neuroaffirming practice starts with how we support our staff. You’ll be joining a team that values authenticity, collaboration, and sustainable workloads.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from
- Senior Speech Pathologists
- Speech Pathologists new to workforce
- Soon-to-be graduates, where we can get you started in reduced capacity while waiting for your accreditation
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Are passionate about neurodiversity‑affirming practice
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Value creativity, curiosity, and client‑led support
- Want a role that adapts to your strengths and lifestyle
- Are seeking a workplace where you can grow, feel supported, and make a meaningful impact.
We have not advertised a Speech Pathology position in our Bunbury clinic for several years, indicative of the long-term staff retention that Stepping Stones loves to celebrate! Ideally, we’d like you to start Monday, 12th October.
This role is advertised as a permanent position; both full and part-time candidates will be considered.
