Civmec are looking for experienced Painter Blasters to work across our OPV and Fabrication Workshops, in the largest fabrication facility of its kind at our Henderson location. This will be w orking on a variety of complex and high-profile projects, you will gain hands on experience and work within a world class team.

The Role
- Mobilise and demobilisingblasting hoppers/spray pumps and encapsulations
- Abrasive blast, ranging from a whip class SA 3 on ferrous and nonferrous substrates using both garnet and steel abrasives
- Hand/Mechanical preparation of repair areas using orbital sanders and MBX's
- Brush/Roll stripe coats as required.
- Using mainly airless spray, apply up to 5 coats systems required DFT's/specifications
- Application of; Inorganic zinc's, Epoxy zinc's, High build epoxies, Antifouls and Acrylic polyurethanes.
- Remediate areas marked up by quality inspectors to meet the requirements of clients'specification.

About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

- 3 - 5 years' Experience within the Industry (Preferred)
- Airless and conventional spray and blasting experience
- High Risk Work Licence - LF & EWP (Preferred)
- Working at Heights (Preferred)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Experience working with Marine Vessels (Desirable)
