We are seeking an experienced and passionate Palliative Care Lead to drive excellence in palliative and end-of-life care across our residential and community services. This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled clinician to influence care outcomes at an organisational level, strengthen clinical capability, and ensure best-practice palliative care is embedded across Juniper.

About The Role Reporting to the Clinical Governance team, the Palliative Care Lead will provide expert clinical leadership, education, and strategic direction to enhance palliative care practices across Juniper. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, customers, families, and key stakeholders to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care that supports comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities Provide expert clinical leadership in palliative and end-of-life care across Juniper services.

Support and mentor clinical teams to build capability and confidence in palliative care delivery.

Develop, implement, and evaluate palliative care frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with aged care standards and best practice.

Partner with customers, families, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to achieve optimal care outcomes.

Monitor clinical outcomes and contribute to quality, risk, and clinical governance activities.





Lead education and training programs to strengthen organisational knowledge and capability.

To Be Successful In This

Role, You Will Bring Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

Postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Care (Graduate Diploma, master's degree or equivalent).

Minimum five years' experience in palliative care, aged care, or a related clinical leadership role.

Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and influencing clinical practice.

Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management, and aged care compliance requirements.

Experience developing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and strategic initiatives.

Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.

A compassionate, customer-focused approach and a genuine commitment to person-centred care.

Current National Police Clearance and a valid Driver's Licence.
