OUR ROLE The Parts Manager role is a permanent full-time position based in our Tolga branch.

As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of the branch business plan objectives and targets for the Parts department. Providing leadership and guidance to the Parts Department staff through consistently reviewing procedures and processes.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Support the Branch Manager in business planning, departmental goal setting, and achieving parts sales and profitability targets.
- Lead and manage the Parts Department, ensuring high levels of customer service, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
- Recruit, induct, train, and manage Parts Department employees, including performance management and development.
- Set, communicate, and monitor departmental objectives and sales targets.
- Drive parts sales through proactive customer engagement, relationship management, and identification of sales opportunities.
- Manage customer consignment stock, inventory levels, stock accuracy, and regular stocktakes.
- Monitor freight costs, supplier performance, aged inventory, and warranty and return claims to maximise profitability.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Resolve purchasing, invoicing, inventory, and customer service issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and provide operational and performance reports to the Branch Manager.
- Promote best practices, standard processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Parts Department.
- Assist in monitoring debtor accounts and supporting the timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Ensure the Parts Department achieves all short and long-term operational and business objectives.

ABOUT YOU





- 5 years Parts experience within the Agricultural industry (which will put you straight to the top of the list!)
- A strong understanding of, or a background in Agriculture.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Minimum three-years management experience
- Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Desirable)
- Ability to quickly learn our in-house computer programs
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- A preparedness to work outside of normal business hours if required
- Forklift licence is highly desirable
