Your recent role

As a Passive Fire Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring buildings meet essential fire safety standards. Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

Installing fire‑stopping systems, fire‑rated boards, sealants, collars, wraps, and barriers

Conducting inspections and reporting on passive fire compliance

Completing remedial works to rectify non‑compliant fire‑stopping

Reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications

Working safely across construction sites and occupied buildings

Supporting supervisors and project teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

Experienced Candidates

Previous experience in passive fire protection, construction, carpentry, or a related trade





- Strong understanding of fire‑stopping systems and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
- White Card and relevant industry tickets (advantageous).

Entry‑Level Candidates A strong work ethic and willingness to learn a specialised trade
- Interest in construction, building safety, or hands‑on technical work
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
- White Card (or willingness to obtain one).
