Join a well-established not-for-profit organisation based in Perth's western suburbs. Due to increased workload, the organisation is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Officer to support their finance team. Conveniently located with easy access to public transport, this role also offers long-term career opportunities with the potential to become permanent.
Your current role
Working 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday), your duties will include:
- Supporting payroll processing for third-party payroll providers
- Managing employee time sheets and leave records
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Responding to payroll-related queries from staff and stakeholders
- Assisting with payroll reporting and compliance requirements
- Supporting payroll reconciliations and general payroll administration
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous payroll experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with payroll systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working within a not-for-profit environment will be highly regarded
