Description
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of payroll professionals
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a large and complex workforce
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and internal policies
- Manage complex payroll calculations including shift penalties, overtime, allowances and leave entitlements
- Act as the senior escalation point for payroll-related queries
- Partner closely with workforce management and rostering teams to ensure accurate payroll data flow
- Support internal and external audits and compliance activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and system efficiencies
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused and collaborative team culture
Profile
- Previous experience leading or supervising a payroll team
- Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge within a large or complex organisation
- Experience interpreting Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement
